ScriptCenter lets pharmacy staff maintain control of filling and checking prescriptions, while ScriptCenter takes care of the securely tracking pickup and payment of pharmacist filled prescriptions. With the experience that comes from providing customer convenient access to millions of prescriptions worldwide, opening regulatory access for automated prescription pickup solutions, and developing extensive integration capabilities with leading pharmacy management and point-of-sale system providers, Asteres’ ScriptCenter is the automated prescription pickup solution with more systems placed than any other player in the market.

David J. Lenny | President & CEO

David has over 30 years of experience in senior leadership positions in a diverse range of industries, including the manufacturing, services, and retail sectors. He is skilled at overall business strategy, team leadership, mergers and acquisitions, domestic and international business development, strategic partnering, process improvement and financial management. Prior to joining Asteres, David was most recently President & CEO of Retail Inkjet Solutions (RIS), an ink refilling equipment manufacturer and service provider to the big-box retail market, with an installed base in over 700 locations. Under his leadership, RIS expanded its footprint into 8 new countries and more than 20 major retailers. In 2021, David led the sale of the company to a consortium of European-based investors.

Prior to taking the helm at RIS in 2015, David held senior positions at both public and privately held companies with global footprints, such as MVTS Technologies where he played a key role in the expansion of the company across multiple new product lines. He spent 9 years with MVTS, a global provider of equipment and service solutions to the semiconductor industry, with manufacturing and operations facilities across North America, Europe and Southeast Asia. During his tenure as CFO, David oversaw a period of over 400% revenue growth and the company’s subsequent acquisition by Boston Semi Equipment (BSE). Before that, during 4 years with Relsys International, a software development company in the pharmacovigilance industry, David was instrumental in expanding the company into the UK and India and in its acquisition by Oracle (NYSE: ORCL).

For 6 years, David held various positions at Esquire Communications (NASDAQ: ESQS), where he oversaw its extensive M&A activities. He led the acquisition and integration of over 40 independent agencies in a fragmented industry, making the company the nation’s largest provider of court reporting, deposition, document depository, and staffing services to the legal industry, in preparation for its sale to the Hobart West Group (HWG). Earlier, he held senior management positions at Manhattan Medical Associates and the Corporate Printing Company in New York City. David graduated with a Master’s Degree in Economics & Political Science from University College Dublin, Ireland, and spent 2 years working in audit at a public accounting firm prior to relocating to the United States. David resides in Rancho Santa Fe, California, with his wife and two daughters.

Tom Radziminski | Director of Product Development

Tom brings more than 30 years of experience in Computer Engineering, System Architecture and technical leadership to Asteres.  He has worked extensively in the pharmacy industry from entrepreneurial startups to Fortune 500 companies.  Prior to joining Asteres, Tom was the Chief Architect for Medvantx where he designed and developed an automated sample medication management system for physician offices used across the country.  When the product was acquired by QPharma, he led the integration of the system into the company’s direct-to-provider sampling program.  Previously, he was a Principal Engineer at Pyxis and Cardinal Health developing industry-defining products for medication and supply management in hospitals and alternative healthcare sites.  He has also worked on Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) projects for several government agencies. Mr. Radziminski holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MS in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California.

Mark Currie | AVP, Department of Defense and Veterans Affairs

Mark has been in the medical sales world his entire career.  His tenure in sales leadership includes Vice President of National Accounts for Pyxis with responsibility for oversite for all sales into the DoD/VA markets as well as additional Vice President roles at Cardinal Health for over 12 years.  Mark’s knowledge of the integration of automation into the pharmacy workflow process and healthcare environment provides decades of adoption of new products and thought process into an ever changing healthcare landscape.

Mark’s current role is Area Vice President responsible for all business within the DoD/VA vertical markets and is focused on insuring that all MTF’s meet their mission requirements in providing a safe and secure methodology for automated prescription delivery to the military and the patients they serve.  Mark holds a B.A. in Sports Science from California State University, Northridge.

Jeff Pinson | AVP, Retail & Healthcare

Jeff has over 15 years enabling retail automation solutions in the grocery, pharmacy, c-store, and telecommunications verticals.  Jeff’s past experience as a senior sales and business development executive include the automated banking space with Cardtronics (acquired by NCR) and the real time payments & transactions space with PreCash/Noventis (acquired by WEX).  Jeff has secured direct and indirect enterprise and channel agreements with multiple retail & government partners, a selection of which includes:  HMS Host, Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), the States of Illinois, New Jersey & Pennsylvania, Reid Stores Inc., Price Chopper, ePay, T-Mobile & AT&T.

Sara Lake | Director of Regulatory Affairs

Sara has more than 19 years of experience in the pharmacy technology space.  Sara was hired as the sixth employee of Asteres and has worked in sales support, marketing, and regulatory compliance roles.  Through her tenure at Asteres she has launched Asteres’ ScriptCenter products into healthcare, DoD, VA, and retail verticals. Sara has been directly involved in market creation, regulatory clearances, marketing initiatives, ROI/value proposition development, implementation process, and on-going account management for hundreds of ScriptCenter deployments.  Sara led the efforts in obtaining legislative action for ScriptCenter in California through SB1447.  She has also worked with dozens of clients and State Boards of Pharmacy to open up new states for the use of automated self-service pharmacy solutions.  Sara was President of San Diego chapter of Women in Business in 2011/2012 and 2014/2015 and is the 2022-2024 President of the PTA in the California Ninth District.  Sara holds a BA from the University of Rhode Island in Merchandising, Marketing and Business.
